When it comes to makeup, I’m kind of an obsessive person. I love getting my hands on every product just to see how it works. Over the past few months however, I have slowed down on buying makeup, and have settled into a routine. I’ve realized that out of all the makeup I own, most of my favorite is drugstore which people find surprising when I tell them.
Which leads us to this blog post. I love sharing my love for makeup and showing that you can truly look boujee on a budget haha! This is a list of my go to makeup listed in the order I reach for it when I sit down to do my makeup.
Eyebrows: this is one of the few products that isn’t drugstore. I go for other brow products but always seem to go back to the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade. I just love how my brows look with it and wont change it up haha!
Eyeshadow: I love Morphe! A great palette to start with is the 35O. You can do the all matte or the original, either way it is a beautiful formula and you get so much product. Now you can get it al ULTA and at the MOA if you live in Minnesota 🙂
Mascara/lashes: Maybelline makes some of my absolute favorite mascaras. My current favorite is a combination “The colossal spider effect” which thickens and “the lash sensational” which lengthens and separates. I stop there when i’m doing a chill look but if I’m going for a bit of a flirty done up look I add lashes. My favorite drugstore are the ardell demi wispies. However, I also do get the salon perfect version which is more affordable and looks the same.

Foundation: The Maybelline Fit Me foundation is tried and true. I love it so much and the fact that they offer dewy and matte ones. Just know that you’ll probably be a slightly different shade depending on which formula you go for. It is a water based foundation so it can be a bit runny but definitely buildable. You can either do a natural or full coverage look with it!
Concealer: I swear by the L.A Girl PRO concealer. The shade range allows for color correcting blemish control, and overall highlighting your under eyes and the high points of your face!
Setting powder: I only set the parts that I highlight with concealer. I do a personal mix of the Airspun “naturally neutral” and the ben nye powder in “MHV-O-CAMEL”. Sometimes I use just the Airspun powder. Another favorite is the newer Maybelline setting powder
Contour: I love the Black Radiance medium to dark true complexion contour palette. I use the contour shade for a light contour moment.
Blush/Highlight: The BH cosmetics nude blush 10 color blush palette is a dream. My favorite blush is the one on the top left which gives such a warm look to any makeup look and my new holy grail highlight is the color on the bottom right corner. Someone never fails to ask me what highlight I’m wearing 🙂
Setting spray: My favorite setting spray is the one by Morphe! Your makeup stays on all day or night, it’s actually a dream. Another favorite is the Mario Badescu rose water. I use this as a primer or setting spray for a dewy finish!
For lips, I just use a lip balm and call it a day!
Thanks for your time,
